The model extracts a draft relationship list. It does not verify literature, establish biological facts or turn a previously generated raster image into vector objects. Layout and later edits are handled by the browser editor.

These are the values PathwayFig sends to APIMart when AI generation is enabled. They are APIMart's API identifiers. We do not represent the -ext identifier as a separately verified official OpenAI model name, and PathwayFig is not an official product of APIMart or any underlying model developer.
APIMart documents this route under GPT-Image-2.5 Ext Image Generation, with Flare and Sunburst selected by the version parameter. PathwayFig currently requests Flare. Availability and routing remain subject to the provider's service.
2. What is sent to service providers
For editable-graph analysis, PathwayFig sends your mechanism description and graph-extraction instructions to APIMart. For image generation, it sends the description, chosen visual style, aspect ratio and resolution, plus instructions for a scientific image draft. Content-safety checks assess the submitted prompt and the returned graph text or generated image before the result can be displayed. The configured content-safety provider is APIMart (omni-moderation-latest). The server communicates with the providers; the application does not place its private provider API key in your browser.
Account passwords and payment-card details are not part of the generation prompt. Avoid including confidential unpublished research, identifiable patient information or material you do not have rights to share. APIMart and its upstream providers may process the submitted content under their applicable terms. We do not promise that third-party processing has zero retention or that it occurs in a particular country.

3. What the output does not establish
- A generated draft can invent relationships, omit nodes, misspell labels or draw incorrect activation and inhibition directions.
- Raster image drafts do not contain editable pathway nodes. Structured graph drafts do contain editable nodes and relationships, but neither output is a verified database record, measured experimental image or reproducible scientific result.
- Neither generation nor a safety review establishes biological accuracy, copyright clearance, originality or journal acceptance.
- Provider availability, response times and output URLs can change. Export or download outputs you need to keep.
Review and correct the work against your own sources, follow your institution's and publisher's AI-disclosure rules, and do not use it for medical advice or patient decisions.
4. Free editor and current availability
The free vector editor uses browser-based SVG drawing. Start from a predefined template, a locally reopened JSON draft or a reviewed AI-extracted graph. Moving, renaming or connecting nodes does not call an AI model. When enabled in the workspace, graph analysis offers two free analyses per account per UTC day, subject to shared site-wide free capacity; further analyses use one credit each after confirmation, and failed or rejected analyses return the credit. The original extracted graph can be reused by the same account for the same description during that UTC day; subsequent editor changes are not automatically saved. Use Save editable file to keep a local JSON copy, or Save to account to keep the diagram in My diagrams. Saving a diagram does not call an AI model. When the limited AI pilot is available, prompts, returned graph text and generated images are screened through APIMart using omni-moderation-latest. Automated screening is imperfect and does not verify scientific accuracy or intellectual-property rights. Uncertain outputs may be held for manual review. Optional AI image generation requires an enabled service and an eligible account balance. One-time credit purchases use Waffo Pancake checkout. Credits are added only after the server verifies payment confirmation.
For content rules and safety reporting, read the Acceptable Use Policy or report a concern. If the generation model changes, this disclosure must be updated to reflect the actual model before it is offered to users.
