These are the values PathwayFig sends to APIMart when AI generation is enabled. They are APIMart's API identifiers. We do not represent the -ext identifier as a separately verified official OpenAI model name, and PathwayFig is not an official product of APIMart or any underlying model developer.
APIMart documents this route under GPT-Image-2.5 Ext Image Generation, with Flare and Sunburst selected by the version parameter. PathwayFig currently requests Flare. Availability and routing remain subject to the provider's service.
2. What is sent to service providers
For an authorized generation, PathwayFig sends your mechanism description, chosen visual style and aspect ratio, plus instructions for a scientific draft to APIMart. Content-safety checks assess the submitted prompt and the generated image before the image can be displayed. A content-safety provider has not yet been configured for public AI access. AI generation must remain unavailable until the required checks are in place. The server communicates with the providers; the application does not place its private provider API key in your browser.
Account passwords and payment-card details are not part of the generation prompt. Avoid including confidential unpublished research, identifiable patient information or material you do not have rights to share. APIMart and its upstream providers may process the submitted content under their applicable terms. We do not promise that third-party processing has zero retention or that it occurs in a particular country.

3. What the output does not establish
- A generated draft can invent relationships, omit nodes, misspell labels or draw incorrect activation and inhibition directions.
- A raster image is not an editable pathway graph, verified database record, measured experimental image or reproducible scientific result.
- Neither generation nor a safety review establishes biological accuracy, copyright clearance, originality or journal acceptance.
- Provider availability, response times and output URLs can change. Export or download outputs you need to keep.
Review and correct the work against your own sources, follow your institution's and publisher's AI-disclosure rules, and do not use it for medical advice or patient decisions.
4. Free editor and current availability
The free template editor uses predefined example graphs and browser-based SVG drawing. Moving or renaming template nodes does not call an AI model. Optional AI generation requires an enabled service and an eligible account balance; payment onboarding is still under review.
For content rules and safety reporting, read the Acceptable Use Policy or report a concern. If the generation model changes, this disclosure must be updated to reflect the actual model before it is offered to users.
